"I am inspired by the life in the streets, the way people interact and human social behavior. I am particularly interested in the Maltese way of life and how we distinguish ourselves through our Mediterranean culture. News items and reports, national and political events or simply a curious everyday anecdote … all of these trigger my creative side and give me the stimulus to work. All of these inspire me to work with found objects and the various materials which are brought together in my work. I am particularly intrigued by the rawness of the metal which often has a character of its own."
